Refund & Cancellation Policy | MOMfidence

Effective date: 23 October 2026

1. About This Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to digital products, online courses, e-books, downloadable materials, educational programs, memberships, and services purchased through MOMfidence, operated by Alme MOMfidence, Norway.

Our mission is to provide accessible educational resources that support personal development, leadership, confidence, and professional growth.

We are committed to transparent purchasing conditions and fair treatment of our customers worldwide.

This policy applies to purchases where Alme MOMfidence is the seller and should be read alongside the specific product description and applicable purchase terms.

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any mandatory consumer rights under Norwegian law or other applicable legislation.

2. Digital Products and Delivery

MOMfidence primarily provides digital products and educational services.

These may include:

  • Online courses and structured educational programs

  • Digital books, guides, worksheets, and PDF downloads

  • Personal and professional development resources

  • Memberships and digital learning communities

  • Individual coaching, mentoring, or educational sessions

Unless otherwise stated on the product page, digital products are normally delivered electronically following successful payment.

Access may be provided through the MOMfidence platform, a member account, email, or a secure download link.

Some programs may have scheduled release dates, limited access periods, or additional conditions. These will be communicated before purchase.

3. Your Right of Withdrawal

Under Norwegian consumer protection legislation, consumers generally have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal when purchasing products or services online.

For digital content and services, the withdrawal period normally begins on the day after the agreement is concluded.

However, specific legal exceptions apply to certain digital products and fully performed services.

Customers residing outside Norway may also have mandatory consumer rights under the laws applicable to their purchases.

MOMfidence respects these rights regardless of the payment method used.

4. Digital Content and Immediate Access

Many MOMfidence products are delivered digitally and may be available immediately after purchase.

Under Norwegian law, the statutory right of withdrawal for digital content not supplied on a physical medium may be lost once delivery begins, but only when the applicable legal requirements have been satisfied.

These requirements include:

  • The customer has expressly consented to delivery beginning before the withdrawal period expires.

  • The customer has acknowledged that the right of withdrawal will consequently be lost.

  • The customer has received the legally required confirmation of this consent on a durable medium, such as email.

Simply purchasing a digital product or receiving access does not automatically remove statutory withdrawal rights where these requirements have not been met.

Where the legal conditions for loss of the right of withdrawal have been fulfilled, purchases of immediately delivered digital content are generally non-refundable unless otherwise required by law.

5. Online Programs, Coaching, and Educational Services

Certain MOMfidence products may include individual guidance, mentoring, coaching sessions, or ongoing educational services.

These services may be subject to different withdrawal rules than downloadable digital content.

If a customer expressly requests that a service begins during the statutory withdrawal period and subsequently exercises a valid right of withdrawal, MOMfidence may be entitled to payment proportionate to the services already delivered, provided the applicable legal conditions have been satisfied.

For services that have been fully performed, the right of withdrawal may be lost where the customer has provided the legally required consent and acknowledgement.

Requests to cancel or reschedule individual appointments should be sent to MOMfidence as early as possible.

Any additional booking or cancellation conditions will be communicated when the service is purchased or booked.

6. Subscriptions and Payment Plans

Some MOMfidence products may be offered through recurring subscriptions, memberships, or payment plans.

The applicable price, payment frequency, total cost, and duration will be presented before purchase.

For recurring subscriptions:

  • Customers may request cancellation of future renewals.

  • Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period.

  • Cancellation prevents future recurring charges but does not automatically entitle the customer to a refund of charges already incurred.

  • Any applicable statutory withdrawal or refund rights remain unaffected.

A payment plan for a fixed-price product is not necessarily a recurring subscription.

Cancelling access to a product purchased through a fixed instalment agreement does not automatically cancel outstanding payments under that agreement.

Payment plans and financing arrangements offered through third-party payment providers may also be subject to the provider's applicable terms.

7. Refund Requests

MOMfidence understands that circumstances may change and that customers occasionally experience difficulties with digital purchases.

Refund requests will be assessed individually, taking into account the product purchased, delivery status, applicable purchase conditions, and relevant consumer protection legislation.

Refunds will be provided where required by law.

In certain circumstances, MOMfidence may also choose to offer a discretionary refund or another appropriate solution.

Discretionary refunds are not guaranteed and do not replace statutory consumer rights.

To request a refund, please contact:

stine@momfidence.no

Include your name, email address used for the purchase, product name, order date, and a brief description of your request.

8. Technical Problems and Product Accessibility

We want every customer to receive the digital product or service they have purchased.

If you experience technical problems, missing access, incorrect downloads, or difficulties opening course materials, please contact us.

We will make reasonable efforts to investigate and resolve the issue.

If a digital product is not delivered as agreed, is defective, or does not conform to its description, customers may be entitled to remedies such as correction, replacement, a price reduction, contract termination, or a refund, depending on applicable law.

Technical problems do not remove your statutory consumer rights.

9. How to Exercise Your Right of Withdrawal

Where a statutory right of withdrawal applies, you may exercise it by sending MOMfidence a clear statement of your decision to withdraw from the purchase before the applicable deadline.

You do not need to provide a reason.

Send your request to:

stine@momfidence.no

You may use the following wording:

"I hereby notify MOMfidence that I wish to exercise my statutory right of withdrawal from my purchase."

Please include your name, the product purchased, the order date, and the email address associated with your purchase.

You may also use the applicable statutory model withdrawal form.

Where required by law, MOMfidence will provide the prescribed withdrawal information and form.

10. Refund Processing

Where a refund is legally due following a valid exercise of the right of withdrawal, MOMfidence will process the refund without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receiving the withdrawal notice, unless a different mandatory legal rule applies.

Refunds will normally be made using the original payment method unless another method is expressly agreed.

No refund processing fee will be charged to the customer for a legally required refund.

The time required for the funds to appear in your account may depend on your bank or payment provider.

Where a purchase was made through an external payment provider, the refund may also be processed through that provider.

If a purchase is refunded or validly withdrawn from, access to the associated digital content or services may be discontinued in accordance with applicable law.

11. International Customers

MOMfidence welcomes customers from different countries and regions.

We aim to make our educational resources available internationally through supported payment methods and digital delivery.

Payment options may vary depending on the customer's country, currency, and payment provider.

International customers remain entitled to any mandatory consumer protection rights applicable to their purchases.

If local legislation provides stronger consumer protections than those described in this policy, the applicable mandatory legal provisions will prevail.

12. Business Purchases

Customers purchasing MOMfidence products primarily for business or professional purposes may not qualify for the statutory consumer right of withdrawal.

Such purchases remain subject to the agreed contractual terms and any other applicable legal rights.

Nothing in this section excludes mandatory rights or remedies available to business customers under applicable law.

13. Policy Updates

MOMfidence may update this policy when necessary to reflect changes in legislation, payment systems, products, or business operations.

The effective date will be updated when changes are made.

Any changes will apply prospectively and will not remove rights already acquired by customers under applicable law or their purchase agreements.
