MOMfidence Insider #10
Weekly updates, leadership, and behind-the-scenes insights from the journey of building MOMfidence.
Structure Isn't Only for Busy People
Yesterday, we shared a post on MOMfidence's instagram about microhabits and structure.
But this is really about something much bigger than a product.
Who needs structure?
The parent raising young children.
The entrepreneur.
The student.
The employee.
The person in good health.
The person navigating health challenges.
The person building big dreams.
And the person who is simply trying to make everyday life work right now.
We all need structure.
Not because every minute of our day needs to be planned.
Not because we need to achieve more.
But because structure can help us use the capacity we have for what actually matters.
Why We Created Microhabits & Structure
MOMfidence isn't a personal project, and this isn't meant to be a personal letter.
But sometimes the story behind a resource matters.
As a mother of five, the leader of a global team, and someone who also has to navigate several health challenges, I know how unrealistic it is to build a life that only works on the good days.
A system that collapses the moment life happens isn't a particularly good system.
That was part of the reason we created Microhabits & Structure.
Small actions.
Simple enough to complete.
Even on the days when your energy is low, your schedule changes, or life simply doesn't follow the plan.
Because structure should support your life.
Your life shouldn't have to fit around your structure.
โCan I Change My Microhabits or Add More?โ
A few days ago, we received a very good question:
Can I replace my microhabits over time - or add more?
The answer says a lot about the entire philosophy behind the system.
When a microhabit starts to feel almost a little boring, that's often a good sign.
It means it's becoming established.
But the goal isn't to fill that new capacity with an ever-growing list of tasks.
More isn't necessarily better.
The microhabits are built around different areas that together support the whole of your life.
Within those areas, you create your own microhabits.
Already have a strong habit within one area?
Great.
Then you can choose another small action within that same area that will help you move forward.
Has your life changed?
Then your habit can change too.
The specific action isn't the most important part.
What matters is continuing to care for that area of your life.
And your habits should be simple enough that you can still follow through when life happens.
That is when structure truly proves its value.
Curious About How It Works?
Microhabits & Structure is available through our MOMfidence ambassadors.
And here, we want to do something a little differently.
You get to choose which ambassador you would like to support when you purchase.
Each ambassador has their own link, and by using it, you directly support that person and what they are building together with MOMfidence.
Choose the ambassador you would like to support:

This also reflects the culture we want to build:
We don't have to compete in order to succeed. We can choose to lift one another.
The Final Ambassador Positions
Recently, we have received a couple of new inquiries about becoming a MOMfidence ambassador.
We are very grateful for that.
But we are not in a hurry to fill the final positions.
We still want to hear from more people before deciding who will complete our first ambassador team.
We are looking for people who take initiative.
Who want to learn and grow.
Who contribute.
Who support others.
Who understand the value of collaboration over competition.
And who want to use their own knowledge, experience, or story to create value for other people.
We are not looking for the largest number of people.
We are looking for the right people.
Leadership Begins With Self-Leadership
We talk a lot about leadership at MOMfidence.
But before we can lead a team, a business, or other people well, we need to learn how to lead ourselves.
And this is where structure and leadership meet.
Self-leadership isn't about having perfect discipline.
It's about taking responsibility for the small choices we repeat.
What do we do when nobody is watching?
Do we keep the commitments we make to ourselves?
Do we take care of the areas of our lives that allow us to remain strong over time?
John C. Maxwell teaches that leadership develops daily, not in a day.
That is an important reminder.
Because leadership is rarely built through one big moment.
It is built through small choices.
Small actions.
Small habits.
Repeated again and again.
It is essentially the same philosophy behind microhabits.
What we do consistently in small ways can, over time, shape something much bigger.
Growth Doesn't Always Have to Look Big
Some days, growth means taking a big step.
Other days, growth means doing the small thing you committed to doing.
Both count.
So this week, we want to challenge you to look at your own everyday life.
Instead of first asking:
โWhat more can I do?โ
Try asking:
โWhat matters enough for me to do a little of it - consistently?โ
That may be a very good place to begin.
Thank you to everyone who continues to build, learn, share, and support the people around them.
We keep growing.
Not necessarily by doing more.
But by becoming more intentional about what matters most.
